Purpose of Production Specialist
The Production Specialist shall facilitate the timely and accurate means of production of finished product. Responsible for production in accordance with the customer specifications within a designated time
Job Responsibilities
1. Preparation
- Reading the order, working method and sequence
- Identify materials by article numbers.
- Unpack and prepare the products to be assembled
- Checking the stock materials, required parts and components
- Collect parts on the basis of pick lists
- Filling in forms regarding serial numbers and/or other relevant information
2. Assembly
- Building parts and components according to specified work sequence and working method with the necessary assembly tools
- Assembly of small mechanical and electronic parts by handling tools, including screw tools, wire strippers, soldering and cutting and nippers
- Light mechanical adjustments such as drilling, grinding and welding
- Lifting and shunting by means of an electric pallet truck (no forklift)
- Pull electrical cables through the mobile weighing systems
- Connecting electronics to the end products and adjusting them
- Set up systems based on customer specific requirements
- Calibrate and correct systems based on customer specific requirements
3. Testing
- Final inspection of semi-finished and finished products on the basis of the test instructions
- Prepare calibration certificates based on test results
- Testing options such as WLAN, bluetooth and printers
- Record test results on the order
4. Prepare for shipment
- Cleaning the end products
- Packing the end products
- Preparing the packed end products for shipment by the Logistics department
Communication
- Discuss the working method, issues, and opportunities for improvement with the Production Team Leader and the Production Manager
- Coordinate work with Team Members
- Exchanging progress of the planning with the Production Planner
- Feedback of errors, problems and improvements

- Follow up regarding working methods and sequence
- Compliance with safety, health and safety and quality regulations
- Keeping the equipment and the workplace clean
- Adjustment of the means of production and tools
Knowledge and experience
- Affinity with assembling small mechanical and electronic parts
- Mechanical Inclination
- Able to bend and lift for moving goods up to 50 pounds
- Team-oriented, quality-oriented and enthusiastic
- Driven, approachable and flexible
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
