Job Summary
The GIS Specialist will focus primarily on senior level web applications development and architecting geospatial solutions utilizing the ArcGIS API for JavaScript.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Full stack web development experience is critical.
- Experience developing web applications and web interfaces with ArcGIS API for JavaScript
- Experience with application integration (Electric Utility application familiarity preferred)
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle RDBMS (Relational Database Management System)
- Designs and implements geospatial data, workflow, and interface architecture.
- Contributes to application development policies, procedures, technical solutions, and methods.
- Responsible for integration of multiple systems such as work order, asset management, outage management, field mobile data collection and GIS
- Experience with Agile Scrum and delivering working and tested features in iterative sprints
- Advises users of the various geospatial architecture processes and endeavors.
- Performs database design and advises users of the various geospatial databases.
- Understanding of Esri, ArcFM or similar Utility network data models (Electric Data model preferred)
- Projects long-range requirements for geospatial database administration and design in conjunction with other relevant managers.
- Generates activity and progress reports regarding associated activities.
- Executes and implements selected geospatial architecture and solutions.
- Mobile application development experience is beneficial.

- At least 7 years of experience in developing and integrating applications, geospatial preferred
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as, geospatial development, engineering, or geospatial information management
- Must have 5 years’ experience building custom applications utilizing ESRI products.
- Relevant experience with JavaScript, Python, C#, SQL, object oriented programming languages/GIS application development including tools such as Visual Studio; and experience using file and enterprise geodatabase systems.
