As a PDU Assembler I, you will be responsible for building sub-assemblies and assemblies for Power Distribution Units (PDU) according to customer specifications. This role involves point-to-point wiring, mechanical assembly, and inspection of units to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Location: Santa Ana, CA 92704
Shift Schedule
- Day 1 Orientation: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Regular shift (Day 2 onwards): 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM
- Anticipated shift change (Starting Nov. 11): 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM
As a PDU Assembler I, you will be responsible for building sub-assemblies and assemblies for Power Distribution Units (PDU) according to customer specifications. This role involves point-to-point wiring, mechanical assembly, and inspection of units to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build PDU sub-assemblies and assemblies following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operate cranes to safely handle materials
- Conduct visual inspections of materials and completed units
- Use hand tools, power tools, gauges, and fixtures to assemble and adjust units
- Perform wiring, assembly adjustments, and repairs as necessary to meet quality goals
- Adhere to company and environmental health and safety standards
- Contribute to process and safety improvements
- Maintain clean workspaces following 5S principles and ensure proper tool calibration
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Must be within a 50-mile radius of Santa Ana, CA (military service members exempt)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in production, packaging, or construction
- Familiarity with SOPs and electrical assembly
- Basic computer skills
