Job Description
We are seeking two experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians with strong electrical experience to join our team for the 2nd shift at our Holyoke, MA location. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience in industrial maintenance within a production setting and will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of production equipment as needed to maintain line operations.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to identify and replace failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, etc.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
- Dismantle/disassemble defective machines and equipment, install new or repaired parts using specifications and/or blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
- Make calibrations and adjustments on various types of devices and production control systems.
- Understand facility systems and component functions, and competently troubleshoot and repair them.
- Assist other maintenance and production team members as required in support of plant goals.
- Select appropriate tools and equipment needed to perform maintenance work.
- Minimum of three years of experience in an industrial maintenance capacity in a production setting.
- Strong experience with electrical systems, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyors, hydraulics, and pumps.
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems including 480v and below, and control voltage/systems.
- Basic hydraulics/pneumatics experience.
- Ability to interface and cooperate well with production line workers and supervisors, with a strong customer service mindset.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
- High awareness of safety.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
