Information Security – Security Analyst Technical Job

Work Hours: 8-5pm PST
Hybrid - 1-2x a week in office.
Location: Mason OH or Dallas, TX
Duties: Monitors, updates and configures Security systems including SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, Endpoint, Proxy, Mail, Web Portal configuration and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyzes phishing emails and associated malware and engages support teams to contain, clean and recover Ensures that proprietary / confidential data, systems and facilities are protected Creates and implements standard operating policies, procedures, guidelines and processes for IT security functions Keeps abreast of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities to maintain situational awareness and applies lessons learned to current procedures
Understands and updates knowledge of core operating systems, applications, and networking functionality and concepts Understands and facilitates company compliance with relevant regulations such as ADA, HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, PII, HITRUST and ISO 27002. Implements approved IT Security service requests according to standard procedures Promotes awareness of IT Security policies and related security topics throughout Company Other Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external departments, vendors, and participants Solid time management and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills Able to work independently 0-3 years IT Sec experience.
