Position Summary

This role ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and the successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes. The Quality Specialist will be responsible for maintaining food safety, adhering to company regulations, and ensuring that production meets the established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow and implement food safety and quality objectives and targets at the factory.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as outlined by Nestlé.
- Promptly report any food safety or quality issues.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and refer to the Nestlé Quality Management System (QMS) for all relevant procedures and programs.
- Understand and execute food safety and quality tasks as per QMS, on-the-job training (OJT), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and food safety.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a quality role within the food or beverage industry.
- Exposure to different operational jobs within production, maintenance, or quality.
- Experience working on special projects or within a mission-oriented capacity is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality control, and compliance regulations.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and address quality issues.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production and maintenance teams.
- Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
