We are seeking a Technical Publications Specialist to join our team for a project-based role. The candidate will work on the identification, migration, and management of technical documents, specifically for Parker Meggitt's aerospace division. The role also includes cleaning up an Access database to ensure data accuracy.

Position Details
- Duration: 6 months (30 hrs/week initially, potential for 40 hrs/week)
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen (due to handling military documents)
We are seeking a Technical Publications Specialist to join our team for a project-based role. The candidate will work on the identification, migration, and management of technical documents, specifically for Parker Meggitt's aerospace division. The role also includes cleaning up an Access database to ensure data accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Document Migration and Management:
- Identify and transfer the latest revisions of ACMM/ACMPs, CMP/CMMs, OHMs, SB/SLs.
- Rename documents following Parker’s naming conventions.
- Provide Document Control with necessary metadata for batch uploads.
- Securely archive source files and coordinate document uploads to PHConnect.
- Access Database Cleanup:
- Clean up duplicate and incomplete entries in the Access database.
- Ensure the database accurately reflects ATA numbers and is consistent with other records.
- Excel file mapping current PDF names to new names.
- Completed Bulk Load Input Sheet with required metadata.
- Confirmation of secure file archiving and successful document upload.
- Updated and cleaned Access database with accurate ATA numbers.
- Experience: 1 years in technical publications, especially in auditing document libraries.
- Skills: Proficiency in Enovia, Salesforce, Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Background: Experience in document control/configuration management, preferably in the aerospace sector.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant post-secondary education preferred.
