Job Title : Instructional Designer Remote- Anywhere within Eastern or Central time zone May be required to travel into Columbus OH office during key dates such as kick-off, go-live Qualifications
5 years of experience in role with : Experience participating in enterprise change / transformation initiatives Strong relationship management skills Instructional design planning & development skills at a project level Strong communication skills written and verbal Flexibility to work with multiple business functions / capabilities (i.e. IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Operations etc.) Learning / training scope management skills Prior consulting Experience preferred
Electric Utility / Electric line or Electrical Industry experience is a Must
Responsibilities A Instructional Designer will : Participate in audience analysis and change impact assessments Use audience analysis and change impact assessment results to drive learning strategy and plans Develop learning strategy and plans specific to each audience group designed to close any knowledge or skill gaps identified Create learning assessments to determine effectiveness of training / learning instructors, materials and events Create job aids / performance support materials to ensure end users have easy reference materials to use in their daily work Use change readiness assessments and other forms of change measurement, including pulse checks, to drive updates to the learning / training plan and materials
