Management and Construction Solutions Inc, an industry leader in the management of construction upgrades and installations of large industrial projects, is looking for an experienced Project Commissioning Manager. This is a full-time year-round position with an 6-month assignment in Skowhegan, ME. Permanent relocation is not required but onsite work is required for 20-25 days per month. A per diem allowance for housing and food as well as compensated travel between site and home are provided. Duties include :
A daily presence in the field to supervise / oversee Commissioning Contractors to keep their work on-schedule and under budget while maintaining safe working conditions, including identifying / removing roadblocks to contractors’ progress toward production targets
Other duties may include :
- Work with the Project Coordinators to implement system execution and hit targets of CCO, ECO & PCO completions.
- Work with contractors for tracking and progress reporting on commissioning status per system breakdown.
- Coordinate between contractors, project team members and mill operations to ensure a safe and efficient commissioning schedule.
- Work with commissioning team to appropriately schedule manpower based on available systems.
- Work with the commissioning team to ensure accuracy and timely handover of all project documentation required for startup.
- Above everything else, ensure the safety of all employees and ensure nothing compromises this.
