The Gadsden Correctional Facility in Quincy, Florida is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Professional to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counselling, clinical social work, or psychology, a deep understanding of mental health challenges, and a commitment to helping individuals achieve emotional and mental well-being. This position involves offering individual and group counseling, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to the needs of our residents.
Essential responsibilities :
Qualifications : Master's degree in marriage and family therapy, clinical social work, counseling or psychology required. Current Florida practice license or less than one (1) year of completion of licensure required. Two (2) years previous work experience preferred. Current CPR certification is required. Valid driver's license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
