What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Management Recruiters Inc. – The Boston Group?
Maximize project efficiency and profitability.
- Lead, direct, and supervise the project team to successfully execute project completion- includes overall plan direction with a critical focus on financial and operational priorities and owner and labor relationships.
- Act as the primary liaison with owners, architects and engineers.
- Communicate with owners, architects and subcontractors related to project risk, timetables, costs / budgets, and change management.
- Work collaboratively with the job site Superintendent to meet owner expectations.
- Develop and implement overall project work schedules identifying the critical path to successful completion.
- Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements.
- Provide leadership in motivating the project team and maintain a positive work environment.
- Perform constructability and coordination reviews.
- Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling and cost control.
- Prepare monthly reports including cost, schedule, safety, cash flow, etc. for internal and / or external use.
- Prepare contingency plans for potential risks, expanding contractual services and project profit.
- Other duties as assigned.
