Brief Position Description :
The Mining Engineer will provide daily oversight and technical support to ensure Quarry production requirements are met, in the short and long term, efficiently and safely, and within MSHA requirements.
Nature and Scope :
- Responsible for effective collection and recording of daily mining records to ensure multiple production shifts and maintenance activities are working synergistically towards common Quarry mining and maintenance objectives.
- Responsible for short term and long term mine planning.
- Responsible for mine control and monthly mapping.
- Responsible for stripping plans, volumes and contracts.
- Responsible for mine production tracking, reporting, planning, measurement, and control.
- Support Production Manager in departmental activities including site management, material cleanup, raw material & fuel inventory.
