Position Description, Functions, Duties, and Tasks :
- Oversight of services in support of operations and site functions which include :
Supply Chain
Production PlanningWarehouse / Distribution / LogisticsProvide strategy and budgets for each of the listed functional groupsServe as a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT) engaging on cross-functional goals to improve overall site performance.Manage all responsible cost centers and all financial aspects including headcount and other expense related items.Leverage Quality as a differentiator by reducing product loss, equipment deviations, rework, and production downtimeInterface with corporate and external firms / vendorsServe as a coach and develop people at the site to enable organization performance improvement.Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment supporting all HSE site policies goals and initiatives and ensuring safe work practices of employees.Stays current with and ensures alignment with Regulatory and Companies' expectations.General understanding of the pharmaceutical and animal health industries, materials management, distribution, and product securities practices, as well as sales practices and marketing models.Complete all HR-related tasks such as ePM plans, development plans, succession planning, career counseling, and all other people-related aspects of the team.Able to handle change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.Stay current with industry and manufacturing trends regarding Supply Chain.Provide strategic direction for Supply Chain, Distribution, and Logistics allowing for reliable supply and growth at the site.Support production plans for API, Filling and packaging operationsProvides robust planning process for site to supply reliably including OSSCE principles, metrics, and schedulingPlans, schedules, coordinates and / or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle.Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.Ensure product availability for our customers through effective production planning given affiliate forecasting trend data.Ensure 100% On Time-In-full (OTIF) order fulfillmentProvide adequate storage conditions and transportation for raw materials, packaging materials, components, and productEnsures appropriate transportation for products to the appropriate customer is managed effectivelyEnsures appropriate cold chain principles are applied to product storage and handling to maintain complianceReports to : General Manager
Minimum Qualification (Education, Experience and / or Training, Required Certifications) :
Education :
4 years Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience)Experience :
Minimum 12 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 8 years managing peopleDemonstrated escalation of responsibilities in multi-disciplinary job functions.Able to manage workload, set priorities, and adjust as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to the appropriate audienceAbility to work well at all levels within the organizationGood interpersonal skills, planning, organization and prioritizing are essential.Team building skills, along with the ability to facilitate action plans.Must have knowledge of computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to demonstrate flexibility to meet business needs / prioritiesDemonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, Cold Chain Management.Demonstrated technical knowledge for materials management, customer demand, distribution and security.Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions with cross-functional alliances.Demonstrated ability to develop positive, cooperative relationships at all levels and across functional boundaries.Demonstrated ability to influence others to drive consistency and continuous improvement.Demonstrated ability for resource optimization.Demonstrated ability to understand internal customers' needs and strategically meet the requirements.Demonstrated lens for anticipating issues and proactively collaborating for solutions.Excellent self-management and organizational skillsDemonstrated understanding of or partnerships with regulatory groups (Internal / External).Demonstrated financial planning and cost accountingAdditional Preferences :
