A qualified candidate will have:
- Five (5 ) plus years of experience in an automated paint line serving the automotive manufacturing industry
- Three (3 ) plus years of experience in a supervisory role
- Hands-on experience and proven results utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools
- Knowledge of robot operation to include basic maintenance trouble shooting and programming PLC’s
- Knowledge of and full operational ability to trouble-shoot and perform basic repairs of conveyor, oven, paint- booth, water-wash, and AMU
- Maintenance of equipment, guns, pumps, regulators, flow meters, and color stacks
- Understanding of the color change process and flushing process
- Full understanding of the paint process from loading parts to inspection of defects
- Strong verbal communication skills including speaking before groups of customers or employees
- Must demonstrate leadership skills and have interpersonal skills/demeanor to motivate the staff and build trust with the workforce
Salary : $120,000 - $145,000
