Our client is a leading producer of world-class separation machinery. Being in business for over 80 years as a family-owned company they believe in taking care of their employees and being passionate about their products.
Purpose :
We are seeking a dedicated senior production engineer to join our client's team. As a production engineer, you will be responsible for detailed modeling and design of various products from 28 unique product families. All models will be generated using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual possessing significant experience with Autodesk Inventor (iParts, iAssembly, iLogic, VBA, etc). Experience with ERP systems is encouraged, but not required.
You will have several duties and responsibilities. These include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Generate accurate 3D models of existing equipment using best modeling practices.
- Design new equipment based on information provided on an order form.
- Create technical and fabrication drawings.
- Maintain accurate BOMs for all designed machines.
- Coordinate with the programming department to ensure all parts successfully make it to the shop floor.
- Enter machine information into Epicor.
- Improve our existing process through the creation and use of iLogic.
- Mentor less experienced team members on best drawing practices.
