We are seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor and 3rd Shift Supervisor that will oversee daily production schedules and ensure that inventory levels are managed properly. You could expect to work closely with the Production Manager to ensure the overnight process and delivery of their parts in the molding Production area.
Essential Functions -
- Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays
- Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays
- Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages.
- Complete maintenance request forms on the repair of machines used in the production process to avoid downtime or delays
- Training of all new operators
- Performs other related duties as assigned
