• Conducting annual reviews, coaching, and counseling shop employees on employee relations issues and development opportunities.
• Setting production requirements based on customer needs and ensuring a smooth flow of materials throughout the shop.
• Directing and ensuring production reports are completed for each shift.
• Coordinating interview processes and training new shop employees.
• Partnering with the Safety Manager to lead safety meetings and ensure ongoing safety training for all shop employees.
• Managing asset utilization and resource capacity, including inventory management.
• Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and laws.
• Leading department personnel to achieve company performance goals with a focus on safety, quality, and meeting standards.
• Meeting or exceeding financial and safety targets.
• Maintaining familiarity with safety and environmental concerns.
• Selecting, supervising, evaluating, and developing staff.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey requirements, expectations, issues, and feedback.
• The ability to multitask and handle stress in a productive environment.
• A commitment to participating in safety programs and upholding a safety culture.
• The ability to assist in problem-solving across various plant areas.
• Bilingual English/Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
