What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for conducting direct recruiting activities, and interfacing with other outreach contractors in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
- Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking, develop linkage with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations, local high schools, one-stops, and churches, participate in center tours, and contact potential enrollees to explore enrollment.
- Prepare, schedule, and provide outreach presentations in the assigned area in support of the regional outreach efforts.
- Assist with leading tours, follow on all attendees with an email, text message or phone call.
- Conduct a tour survey and communicate with supervisor and the center to follow up.
- Prepare necessary and required reports related to the recruitment and retention efforts.
- Participate and promote student employability programs and activities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business communications or closely related field; or associate degree and 2 years related experience required.
- Experience may include sales and successful outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth programs.
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
