What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for performing duties concerned with the care of the sick and injured, prevention of illness, and promotion of good health, in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
- Serve as sites disability co-coordinator and attend monthly department of labor disability conference call meetings. Atten interdisciplinary team meetings regarding applicant file review and coordination of accommodations.
- Render first aid treatment and assist physician in treating serious accidents or illnesses.
- Cleanse and dress wounds, operate emergency equipment and provide follow‑up nursing care as required.
- Prepare and administer specified medications and drugs and assist in developing programs to prevent or control diseases and accidents.
- Perform routine lab tests in accordance with approved standards.
Education and Experience Requirements :
- Valid licensed practical nurse (LPN) or medical assistant (MA) in the state of employment required.
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
