We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations, and experience with property management software such as OneSite. You will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with tenants and ensuring that property operations run smoothly.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist in managing tenant relations and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate tenant files and documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property tours, processing applications, and following up with prospective tenants.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors to ensure timely repairs.
- Help manage property budgets and assist in tracking expenses.
- Utilize customer relationship management tools to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Participate in upselling additional services or amenities to current tenants.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to real estate management, including filing, correspondence, and record keeping.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager on facilities management tasks to ensure the property is well-maintained.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within real estate or property management.
- Familiarity with OneSite or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative processes related to property management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective tenant interactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
- Experience in facilities management is a plus but not required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
