Job Summary
We are seeking a leasing consultant. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a background in facilities management, and a keen understanding of property maintenance. This role requires excellent customer service abilities and the capacity to negotiate effectively with tenants and vendors. The Property Manager will ensure that all properties are well-maintained, compliant with legal regulations, and that tenant satisfaction is prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Oversee property maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs with contractors or maintenance staff.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize property management software such as OneSite for tracking leases, payments, and tenant communications.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, correspondence, and files related to property management activities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to promote available units and enhance occupancy rates.
- Develop budgets for property operations and monitor expenses to ensure financial health.
- Need at least 2 years of HUD and Tax credit .
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with legal regulations pertaining to property management is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Strong negotiation skills to manage lease agreements and vendor contracts.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with property maintenance processes is advantageous.
