This position assists in census development by forging strong connections with physicians and community referral sources. Your role will be pivotal in assessing the needs of prospective residents and ensuring their smooth transition into our facility. Plus, you'll have the chance to represent us at community events, fundraisers, and more!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build Relationships: Forge and nurture strong ties with Hospital Case Managers, Discharge Planners, Social Workers, and area Physicians.
- Community Engagement: Participate in community functions, events, and fundraisers to boost our presence and positive impact.
- Assessment and Documentation: Evaluate prospective residents’ needs and coordinate with our team to ensure all medical documentation is prepared for a seamless admission process.
- Marketing and Public Relations: Develop and implement effective marketing and public relations strategies to enhance our community presence and outreach.
What We’re Looking For:
- Communication Skills: You excel in both verbal and written communication and can present ideas clearly and persuasively to community groups.
- Organizational Skills: You’re adept at planning, organizing, and making timely decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Experience: A solid grasp of effective communication, community relations, and marketing is key. Previous Admissions Director experience preferred.
- Technical Know-How: Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word is essential.
- Flexibility: You’re open to working flexible hours and weekends as needed.
