As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes in a timely manner. You will work alongside a team of chefs, ensuring that each plate meets our standards of presentation and taste. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and able to handle the pressures of a busy kitchen while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Prepare all ingredients and food items according to standard recipes or as instructed by the head chef.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Cook and plate dishes to specification, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation and timely service during peak hours.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering as needed.
- Participate in kitchen prep activities, including chopping, cleaning, and marinating.
- Contribute to menu development and suggest new recipes and improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a line cook or relevant culinary experience.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
