What are the responsibilities and job description for the Switchboard/Receptionist position at Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court & Comptroller?
The Administration division of the Clerk's Office oversees a complex organization that performs a wide range of record keeping, information management and financial management in the judicial system and county government. The Switchboard/Receptionist position is a full-time, non-supervisory position reporting to the Executive Associate to the Clerk of Circuit Court & Comptroller.

The essential mental and physical functions listed below are required in order for an employee to be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
- High School diploma or GED
- One year of recent and related experience that demonstrates the ability to apply acute attention to detail and skill using a multi-line phone system. Computer literacy which includes, but is not limited to, proficiency in a Microsoft Windows suite

- Provides excellent customer service to all in person, in email and over the phone; is approachable, helpful and personable; and answers questions knowledgeably and with patience
- Operates the main switchboard
- Processes daily incoming mail
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
