General Information
Work Location: 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida 34205
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Performs and conducts analysis; coordinates with fiscal services, manages bond requirements, manage inspection request for bond release, provide administrative assistance and preforms clerical duties; preform back-up duties as needed, meet customer service goals.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
Work duties are typically performed in a general office setting. Sitting for long periods of time, working on computer. Lifting equipment or supplies up to 25 pounds alone and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Job Description
Essential Functions

Manages and coordinates performance bonding.
Administers and assists internal and external entities with the bonding processes.
Develops and manages the bond release schedule and related inspections.
Makes demand upon performance bonds upon default.
Maintains and administers the software for tracking performance bonds.
Performs conduct analysis to assist management and regulatory agencies.
Generate the Agenda Memos and Request for Legal Services Memos for bond acceptance and language.
Generate bond release notice and mail certified along with the original bond back to the developer, the surety company or the bank and final close out documents.
Generate an RLS Memo to draw funds on a security for various reasons, such as company bankruptcy or refusal to complete punch list items from an inspection.
Preform back-up duties as assigned.
Meet customer service goals.
Preform other related work as required including weather or other extreme emergency duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree in finance, construction, or engineering required.
Three (3) years of experience in construction services, bonding, and software for tracking and managing data.
Valid driver's license required with valid Florida driver's license required within 30 days of hire.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Basic mathematic proficiency.
Ability to interpret, research, and implement administrative policies and procedures.

Ability to work independently and use sound independent judgement to solve problems.
Ability to perform professionally, effectively, and efficiently under varied workloads and in stressful situations.
Time management, communication skills and organizational skills are necessary to perform this role.
