Duties

- Execute specialized floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing various types of flooring.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure carpets are well-maintained.
- Inspect floors regularly for damage or wear and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Collaborate with other custodial staff to ensure comprehensive cleaning coverage throughout the facility.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning and custodial services is preferred.
- Proficient in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Knowledge of environmental services practices to promote sustainability in cleaning processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement or additional care.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
