Hospital Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings, including commercial spaces and healthcare facilities. This role requires a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Sanitate surfaces and fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks.

Skills

• Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques and practices.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning and sanitation.
• Experience in custodial or environmental services is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and clients.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
