Responsibilities:
Supports leadership in the interview and selection process. Coordinates and prioritizes the workload and assignments for employees on the assigned shift, ensuring effective oversight and support throughout the shift. Facilitates onboarding, training, and orientation for new team members. Conducts weekly inspections of all Food and Nutrition work, storage, and service areas to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines governing food services. Prepares the department for regulatory inspection surveys, addressing surveyor requests and following up on any identified discrepancies. Monitors inventory to ensure items are adequately stocked without overstocking and prevents items from expiring before use. Assists in the planning and preparation for all catering events. The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for operational oversight of the production areas of Food and Nutrition and for the ongoing assessment and improvement of those areas during their shift. This position supervises employees and reports to the Patient Services Manager. A High School Diploma or GED is REQUIRED.

Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years experience related to food service or preparation required. High School Diploma or GED is REQUIRED. Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential. Ability to maintain a positive attitude. Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect. Maintains a professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all customers. Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
