What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUPV - DIETARY position at Manatee Memorial Hospital?
Supports leadership in the interview and selection process. Coordinates and prioritizes the workload and assignments for employees on the assigned shift, ensuring effective oversight and support throughout the shift. Facilitates onboarding, training, and orientation for new team members. Conducts weekly inspections of all Food and Nutrition work, storage, and service areas to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines governing food services. Prepares the department for regulatory inspection surveys, addressing surveyor requests and following up on any identified discrepancies. Monitors inventory to ensure items are adequately stocked without overstocking and prevents items from expiring before use. Assists in the planning and preparation for all catering events.
