Opportunity
We are seeking a Client Arrangement Specialist to support our billing professionals and Billing and AR department by reviewing and implementing all client fee arrangements and any requirements contained in client Outside Counsel Guidelines. This role will also aid the Manager of Client Billing and Compliance in creating processes and procedures to review outside counsel guidelines, summarize and communicate essential details, and implement billing rules. This position ensures timely and accurate implementations and enforces best practices and process improvement initiatives. This position thoroughly understands the client arrangements cycle and looks for opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities
- Review rate change requests and ensure they are in line with respective fee arrangements for the Firm’s top clients
- Analyze and review the Firm’s top client fee arrangements and Outside Counsel Guidelines to ensure that corresponding billing information is properly set up in our financial and legal management system
- Effectively communicate the client fee arrangements and billing requirements to appropriate Firm personnel
- Address questions and issues that arise due to the setup of billing information in our financial and legal management system from Firm practice groups and clients
- Collaborate with and provide insight to IT, Client Intake and Financial Systems departments to build additional tools to assist in our processes
- Partner with billing partners, billing specialists, e-billing specialists, pricing and other Firm personnel to define client fee arrangements
- Prepare analyses of appropriate billing information to assist billing professionals in developing fee arrangement proposals
- Communicate fee arrangement details and billing requirements to appropriate teams to ensure proper structure, documentation and compliance
- Review client Outside Counsel Guidelines to submit for proper setups in our financial management system
- Monitor and enforce adherence to client billing guidelines and Firm policies
- Conduct regular audits of billing practices to identify and address potential compliance issues
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in billing operations
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two (2) years of related work experience
- High-level proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Legal billing and accounting software experience preferred
- Experience with electronic billing systems, Aderant Expert and rate hierarchy
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong client service, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Ability to work in a team environment and share knowledge
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
