Sales and Marketing Manager
Summary: Part Time
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for connecting with potential clients and fulfilling their contracts. Primary tasks include working with clients to complete their paperwork for the booking that outlines their needs as well as our staff needs. This person must be comfortable with vendor management and event planning.
Basic Function and Responsibilities
- Manage (and fill) our events calendar
- Build and maintain donor relationships
- Serve as our primary point of contact for large events and parties
- Maintain BEO (banquet event order) paperwork for each booking
- Collaborate with Operations Manager on special requests
- Negotiate contracts and bill customer accordingly
- Follow up with customers on outstanding balances
- Ability to provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environment
- Coordinate volunteers when needed
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience preferred including POS systems and purchasing
- Must utilize excellent guest service skills to enhance the experience and meet the needs of guests with a positive attitude
- Must be able to multitask and be self-motivated
- Must be able to communicate clearly and congenially with patrons about services, products, and programs
- Adherence to a uniform policy and grooming standards -must present a neat, professional appearance
- Qualified candidate will be a mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- Must obtain iPact Certification
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays and special events
