\n- Manage client onboarding for assigned engagements, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to firm processes.
- Support client acquisition and retention by providing expert-level accounting services and proactive solutions.
- Independently process and review payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion, and assist in resolving complex payroll-related inquiries.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of financial records, performing regular reviews and updates.
- Execute and review processes related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and month-end closing, providing financial reporting and analysis.
- Demonstrate expertise in professional accounting and bookkeeping, including preparing and reviewing Depreciation Schedules, Sales Journals, and Sales Tax Returns, and reconciling Payroll Records and Employment Tax Returns.
- Serve as a key point of contact for junior staff, providing guidance, training, and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Independently prepare and review Corporate and Individual Income Tax Returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Take ownership of client inventory records, monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, internal management reports, and ad hoc financial reports.
- Lead the preparation of year-end audit schedules, coordinating with auditors and assisting with audit-related processes.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, including automation and efficiency enhancements.
- Assist in documenting, designing, and testing financial processes and procedures that impact financial statements or performance.
- Act as a resource for resolving complex accounting issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Perform other related duties as required, contributing to team success and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably with a CPA firm.
- CPA or CPA Track highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite proficiency.
- Prior experience with UltraTax and/or other tax preparation software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
