Position: Automation Technician

Location: Newton Falls, OH

Pay: Discussed during interview

Shifts: First or Second Shift

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Technician to join our team in the Newton Falls area. This is a great opportunity for a professional with a diverse skill set to work on various systems and processes within the automation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Build & Maintain EOAT, Fixtures, Secondary Equipment, and Automation Systems
• Work with robot systems such as Nachi 6-axis, Yushin Cartesian, and other automation systems.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC systems and vision systems, specifically Keyence.
• Support electronic controls, injection molding presses, material dryers, and process water systems.
• Manage inventory and help with inventory control systems.
• Develop and document detailed schematics, drawings, and system setups.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading and creating schematics for hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, ladder diagrams, and CAD (2D, 3D).
• Experience with SolidWorks is preferred.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Word processors, spreadsheets, and basic software tools.
• Experience with injection molding machines and related concepts.
• Must be able to effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
