CNC Programmer

Mancan is working with a company in Holmesville seeking a CNC programmer and setup technician. This is a DIRECT HIRE position, meaning you will be on their payroll from day one! Hours are 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. Pay is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and optimize CNC programs for lathes and mills using CAD/CAM software.
  • Set up CNC machines, including installing tooling, fixtures, and material alignment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Perform test runs and make necessary adjustments to meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programming, setup, and machining processes.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).
Qualifications:
  • Experience in CNC programming and setup for lathes and mills.
  • Proficiency in G-code, M-code, and CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of machining operations, cutting tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
