Duties
- Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services using various techniques including straight razor shaving and hair threading.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Manage front desk operations including appointment scheduling through Squire, greeting clients, and processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barbershop, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
- Upsell additional services such as nail care or specialized treatments to enhance client experience and increase shop revenue.
- Assist in store management tasks, including inventory management and product displays to promote retail sales.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and hair styling techniques to provide clients with contemporary styles.
Qualifications
- Valid barbering license or certification in the state of operation.
- Proven experience in barbering or hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with squire software for appointment scheduling is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform various grooming techniques including straight razor shaving, hair threading, and nail care is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on building lasting client relationships.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling services and products within the shop environment.
