Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples
- Label and properly store collected specimens for laboratory testing
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of blood samples
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure infection control
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort during the blood collection process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy equipment and work area - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times Experience
- Excellent knowledge of venipuncture techniques and blood collection methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately label specimens
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year as a Phlebotomist
- Knowledge of HIV or infections disease.
