Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Manage contracts effectively to ensure all terms are met and any issues are addressed promptly.
- Utilize HeavyBid for accurate project bidding and cost management.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work performed.
- Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and software (ProCore, Primavera).
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety practices in construction environments.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical documents related to construction projects.
- Experience with contract management and negotiation is preferred.
