To manage the operation of a school cafeteria; functions include directions and guidance for the overall food and nutrition servies program at the school level. specific functions include : Conformance to food quality standards; implementation of nutrition standards for meals; productivity; accountability; nutrition analysis, management of the financial operation of the cafeteria, maintenance of current manuals, resource materials, and nutrition education materials; training and evaluation of staff; and consultation with administrators, teachers, and other school staff. Highest possible student satisfaction is to be achieved.
In carrying out assigned responsibilities, the Nutrition Manager must ensure that all personnel under his / her operational control comply with all government, regulatory state agency, and local school board policies and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three years experience in school nutrition services preferred.
