What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Interventionist position at Manchester Elementary Middle School?
Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking an Academic Interventionist to work with elementary and middle school students at Manchester Elementary Middle School for the 2025/2026 school year. Interventionists work with students in a multi-tiered system of supports to help them achieve growth in specific foundational skills in reading and/or mathematics, as needs are identified by local assessments. This professional provides targeted intervention in addition to the instruction delivered by a teacher in the general education setting. The overall intention of this role is to help students develop proficient mathematics and/or literacy skills that will close gaps and contribute to their academic growth.
