Resident Enrichment Program Assistant
- Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hiring a Resident Enrichment Program Assistant. This position will plan and implement educational, social, emotional, cognitive and physically appropriate and beneficial programs for elderly and persons with disabilities and serve as a resource and advocate for residents of public and assisted housing for the elderly and persons with disabilities. Applicants should have the ability to interact with the elderly and/or persons with disabilities in a compassionate, diplomatic, positive and helpful manner as well as maintain sensitivity to the needs of persons of diverse social, cultural and economic backgrounds.
- Qualified candidates will be CPR and First Aid certified or have the ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid within one year of hire. Must be proficient with computer skills and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ideal candidates will be self-directed and have strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently and maintain professional boundaries. Bilingual preferred but not required.
This is a full-time, 35-hour work week, non-exempt position.
Must have flexibility to work occasional evening or weekend for special events.
A Valid Driver's License and Personal Auto Insurance is Required.
