What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at Manchester School District?
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements :
- Master's Degree in school psychology or equivalent.
- Completed 45 graduate hours in school psychology or related area in addition to an internship.
- Have completed no less than a 500-clock hour supervised internship with school age persons.
- Meets competency requirements set forth in District's personnel standards as required under 34 CFR 300.23 and 34 CFR 300.136.
- Requirements as set by the State of New Hampshire Certification Authorities and Board of School Committee regulations.
- Valid driver's license and own transportation
Specific Core Function :
To administer a variety of psycho-educational instruments to students who are experiencing difficulties (academic or behavioral) in the classroom. To help the schools determine if a student is eligible for special education services.

Specified Length / Hours of Position :
This is an affiliated (MEA) position. The contracted work year for this position is 181 - 205 days depending upon date of hire. See Collective Bargaining Agreement for details.
