RN or LPN - Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for Urology Practice – Part Time - Per Diem

A Manchester Urology in southern New Hampshire is hiring a Registered Nurse (Diploma, Associates Degree RNs accepted) or LPN Licensed Practical Nurse for a 32 hour position. The practice is a multidisciplinary environment which requires exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, clinical and administrative staffs.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Provide teaching, answer clinical questions, and be a resource for patients.
• Responsible for performing and assisting the providers with in-office procedures.
• Provide Nursing care to patients, give injections, and perform bladder scans.
• Telephone triage, answering patient’s clinical questions, and scheduling patients for appointments.
• Must have the ability to use appropriate judgment and independent thinking when resolving patient care issues.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Able to work additional hours to cover staff time off and vacations when needed
• Assist in the patient rooming process.
• Perform point of care lab testing.
• Document appropriate information into the patient’s electronic medical record using standardized workflows and processes.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task to work in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE:

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education. NOT REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in Nursing – Diploma, ASSOCIATES DEGREE RNs accepted.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience, urology, gynecology and/or gastroenterology preferred but not required.
• RN or LPN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in New Hampshire.
• Knowledge of Epic is preferred but not required.
