Private practice/orthodontic office seeks an Experienced Orthodontic Assistant to provide top orthodontic care to patients of all ages. Candidates must have chairside orthodontic experience (with an Orthodontist) and firm knowledge of advanced orthodontic adjustments, wire changes, fabricating retainers, iTero scanning, Invisalign and have their NC X-ray certification. Must be an enthusiastic team player with great initiative, excellent communication skills, and a love for orthodontics. Duties will include (but not limited to):
- - Assisting orthodontist with chair side patient care
- - Advanced orthodontic adjustments
- - Changing arch wires
- - Tying ligature ties
- - Fabricating retainers (Impressions, pouring and trimming models)
- - Taking intraoral photos and iTero scans
- - Invisalign
- - Taking digital x-rays/Taking 3D xrays
- - Sterilization
Qualifications:
- - Orthodontic chair side assisting experience (with an Orthodontist)
- - NC x-ray certification
- - Excellent verbal and written communication
- - Adapts easily
- - Team player with great initiative
- - Flexible schedule**
