JOB INFORMATION
Title: Youth Volleyball Official
Classification: Officials, Part-time Seasonal
Salary Range: Starting at $20
Supervisor: Works under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
Youth Volleyball Official will be responsible for officiating youth volleyball at Mandan All Season Arena and/or local schools
JOB DUTIES
*Work with Recreation Supervisor to determine setup and take down procedures of volleyball equipment if needed.
*Follow rules set for each grade division.
*Work with Recreation Supervisor to determine appropriate opening and closing procedures as needed.
*Officiate all scheduled matches.
*Responsible for ensuring other official (if scheduled) is on site. Must call scheduled official if he/she
does not show up for matches.
*Complete Initial Incident/Accident Reports as needed and give to the supervisor the following day.
*Report to work on time and ready to work. Absences must receive prior approval by the supervisor.
*Inform Recreation Supervisor prior to running out of supplies.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to stand for 3-5 hours at a time.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a background in volleyball and/or volleyball officiating.
The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Salary : $20
