Based at the Mandarin Oriental Boston / within the Spa Department in Boston, Massachusetts, the Part-time Spa Attendant position is responsible for providing personal assistance to any guest arriving for spa treatments, private training sessions, or use of the heat and water experiences. It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will meet and exceed guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous service in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. The incumbent will be providing various services and products to the guest and must always be representative of the brand.

The Spa Attendant reports to the Director of Spa and Wellness and Spa Managers.

As Part-time Spa Attendant you will responsible for the following duties:

• Welcome and familiarize spa guests with our facilities according to spa standards.
• Assist guests with tours of the spa facility and escort guests to and from spa treatments.
• Provide quality service by responding to guest’s requests promptly, efficiently and courteously.
• Spa Attendants will maintain the daily operating cleanliness, tidiness and ensure towel supplies are constantly replenished within following areas: locker room, fitness, indoor pool areas, and all applicable back of the house areas.

• Ensure the replenishment of all necessary consumables, items, supplies and ensure that all furniture, fixtures and equipment are well maintained and in perfect working condition
• Report any breakage, damage & loss to the Spa management and notify concerned Colleague/s concerning the need for repairs/ fix or additions to spa operations
• Operate equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties and follow procedures for the use of any equipment according to specifications while mindful of safety protocols.
• Request, collect stock and supplies in accordance with par stock levels
• Maintain all departmental assets and ensure that all items are cleaned, checked out, and returned to the appropriate storage area
• Maintain spa knowledge and awareness with ongoing spa promotions and activities to be able to assist when approached by Guests
• Maintain full awareness and adherence of all health and safety/ hygiene control and regulations including chemicals/solutions used at work
• Maintain overall health/sanitation, and safety standards in work areas

• Anticipate guests' needs to provide exceptional and unique guest experiences in line with MOHG standards.
• Support the spa team in providing a seamless journey for all spa guests.
• Showing co-operation and support to all hotel and Residences colleagues.
• Stay current with developments, procedures and news through hotel communication channels.

As Part-time Spa Attendant, we expect from you:

• Have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Maintaining a flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
