About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental New York within the Food and Beverage Department in New York the Substitute Private Bar Attendant is responsible for replenishing and maintain the private bar in all guest rooms. The Substitute Private Bar Attendant reports to the Director of In-Room Dining.
As Substitute Private Bar Attendant , you will responsible for the following duties :
- Maintain storage room and carts organized
- Utilize portable POS system for accurate charges to guest's folio
- Keep Private Bars clean and properly replenished at all times
- Replenish products with fresh items and make sure labels are facing guests, bottles are sealed and expiration dates are checked and items are placed it the right location
- Print different reports (C / I, C / O, INH) reports for daily usage of operations
- Prepare a monthly inventory of certain items
- Have a pager at all times for immediate assistance of guest's request
- Generate food and beverage requisitions orders based on par stock
- Complete all the side works and preparations of the equipment for the continuation of the operation
- At the end of the shift deliver all checks and report, accordingly, setting and maintaining the Mini Bar environment and material perfectly clean as per side work description. Following the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet, attend monthly department meeting
