Pay Rate : Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on certification and experience

Manderley Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) / Food Service Director to oversee and manage the dietary department in our skilled nursing facility. In this leadership role, you will ensure high-quality nutritional services, compliance with dietary standards, and a positive dining experience for our residents.

Position Overview :

As the Food Service Director, you will manage daily operations of the dietary department, lead a team of food service employees, and collaborate with other departments to provide optimal care for our residents. You will play a key role in upholding our commitment to excellence and fostering a supportive work environment.

Compensation :

Pay starts at $20.00 per hour , with increases based on certification and experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct and oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

Supervise food service employees, including scheduling, hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.

Address disciplinary matters and conduct probationary and annual employee reviews.

Plan, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with established menus, incorporating approved substitutions when necessary.

Ensure food preparation adheres to standardized recipes and accommodates special dietary needs.

Review and update resident care plans to address individual dietary requirements.

Provide nutrition counseling in collaboration with a registered dietitian.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing dietary operations.

Act as a member of the interdisciplinary team to ensure integrated, high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications :

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required.

Prior experience in long-term care or a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.

Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
