MANDEX Communications Network Engineer Mid

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

• Evaluating communication hardware and software.
• Troubleshooting Local Area Network/Base Area Network/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WANs) and other network related problems.
• Administering LAN/BAN/WANs. Scheduling conversions and cutovers.
• Coordinating with all responsible users and sites

EXPERIENCE:  

• A minimum of 4 (four) years’ specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and test of complex large scale computer integrated networks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alone or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with individuals including government and site personnel as well as other MANDEX team members.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds while performing onsite tasks.

TRAVEL:

• Travel up to 30% of the time.  Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

SECURITY: Active DoD Secret Clearance

EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification required
• CCNA or other OEM network support certification required.
