Job Summary
We are seeking a Breakfast short order cook to apply if you do not have experience or are not looking for a long term role do not apply. Come in M-W morning 605 New Berlin Road Jacksonville
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
- Prepare eggs, omelets and assorted food and present it in an appealing manner
- Be able to work in a very fast paced line
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management
- Must be very organized
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
