POSITION SUMMARY :
The Director of eCommerce is responsible for the day-to-day operations for the North America Direct to Consumer sales channel (manduka.com), achieving the annual revenue, traffic and conversion targets, while leading the site merchandising strategy for the North America DTC websites to ensure the customer experience is consistent with industry best practices and optimized based on site performance data. Reporting to the VP of DTC, this role will drive revenue targets, operational efficiency and product launches. Partnering with Marketing, Creative, Sales and Planning teams, the Director of Ecommerce will maximize sales on the site as well as working closely with the Paid Media and Digital Marketing to increase new customers, retain existing customers and increase conversion, traffic and revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
eCommerce Sales Strategy & Site Merchandising
- Lead the strategic marketing, merchandising, and assortment vision for the Manduka digital storefront including oversight of core and innovation products in alignment with brand marketing efforts.
- Build and execute the eCommerce GTM calendar and associated creative briefs to ensure website and messaging is consistent with monthly and seasonal campaigns.
- Own and project manage the site enhancements prioritization list.
- Partner with paid media lead to ensure ecommerce traffic and sales goals align with always on media and DTC conversion driving media investments.
- Maintain close relationship with Fulfillment and Customer Service teams to ensure ecommerce initiatives are supported with sufficient inventory and staffing.
- Work in partnership with Planning, Creative, Sales and Marketing teams on forecasting and coordinating seasonal and monthly product merchandising and marketing strategies.
- Own the selling and promotional strategy throughout the stores to drive products and trends, including the homepage and digital channels.
- Contribute to annual and ongoing KPI goal building and sales plan process.
- Execute weekly, monthly and quarterly eCommerce recaps and report decks.
- Develop plans for A / B testing and consumer targeting to ensure compelling and relevant experience for every customer.
