Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, serving tables and providing excellent hospitality in a casual dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; perform basic retail math as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, cocktail recipes, and menu changes to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume establishment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage preparation.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management.
- Familiarity with food safety practices within the food industry.
- Experience with POS systems is an advantage.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 20 years of age as per local regulations.
- Must be STAR certified
